Manufacturer drives interest with “Xtreme”
promotions series for 2008

AUGUSTA, GA (May ‘08)–
Club Car is excited to announce that Bob
Charette of Somerset, Massachusetts raced his
way to the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, NC on May
25. Charette won Club Car’s “XRT Race Day
Xperience” promotion, the first of three
consumer promotions for 2008.
Launched in early March, the XRT Race Day
Xperience encouraged consumers to visit their
local dealership, test-drive an XRT utility
vehicle and enter to win a prize package to the
race. The package for two included
round-trip airfares, accommodations, tickets to
the race, a special race experience with
Hendricks Motorsports, $500 spending cash and
commemorative gift.
Charette entered through his local
dealership, Country Club Enterprises (29 Tobey
Rd., Wareham, MA.). The winning dealer
also received the same prize package as
incentive for participation in the
corporate-sponsored promotion.
Driving Summer Sales
Club Car will continue to drive XRT utility
vehicle interest and foot traffic into the
company’s dealerships this summer with the
second XRT promotion. The “XRT Xtreme
Rewards” promotion, running June 1-August 31,
includes both finance options and bonus
accessories for those purchasing one of the
company’s 4x4 series utility vehicles, including
2009 models.
Customers can choose from two financing
opportunities: 0/0/0 equates to no money
down, no interest and no payments for six months
–OR– 5.9% financing for 48 months. In
addition, customers will be able to “pimp their
ride” with up to $750 in free XRT accessories.
Some of the more popular accessories on the XRT
line include brushguards, radio,
headlights/taillights.
XRT Xtreme Rewards is the second of a
three-series promotion offered by Club Car. The
final promotion will be announced at a later
date.
