2010 Off-Road Tour for a Cure
The 2010 Off-road Tour for a Cure has just
begun! Last year was phenomenal but this year is
going to blow last year out of the water!
History
In 2009, we met all the challenges that came our
way. We conquered all kinds of trail systems,
events, festivals and parks. We were featured in
many “Good News” headlines across the nation in
press, podcasts, radio and even in some films.
We are very grateful for that time in the
spotlight.
Causes
We took part in many off-road campaigns last
year. We fought for several different trail
systems that were in danger of closing and for
the right of our children to be able to ride in
our campaign against the ban on youth ATVs and
Dirt bikes. We even did our part to help with
Wetland Conservation. We raised positive
awareness in many areas of the off-road
community as a whole and for some wonderful
charities as well.
Our Main Objectives
Once again, we are going to take the nation by
storm as we take on challenges in a way that
will affect our community in very positive and
profound ways.
We have a full line-up of private, public,
local, state and federal ATV and OHV parks to
cover in 2010, as well as even more events,
festivals and campaigns than we did in 2009.
There is so much that needs to done and we are
just getting started!
Calendar of Events
Please go to
www.CJRenaJohnson.com and check out the
Calendar of Events to see where we will be next
and come join us in this great adventure. The
fans of the Tour for a Cure are such a huge part
of what makes it all worthwhile and we look
forward to meeting all of you.
Our Charities
As if we are not doing enough within the
off-road community, we also work to raise
awareness, as well as funds for many wonderful
charities. Last year, we featured the Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society, the American Cancer
Society, the American Breast Cancer Society and
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We will
continue to feature each of those this year and
will be adding some others as the year goes.
Do Your Part
Please continue to show your support by joining
us whenever you can and remember to mention to
the park owners or event organizers that you are
a fan of the Tour and thank them for having us
there. Also and very importantly, please do
anything you can to show support to our awesome
sponsors because without their support, this
tour would not be possible.
Sponsors
We are all very grateful to our gracious and
generous sponsors for their support of this Tour
for a Cure. We especially want to thank
Polaris Industries for providing us with an
awesome Passion Pink Ranger RZR that has become
a symbol of the Tour. It not only takes center
stage wherever we go, it also allows us to
conquer all challenges we face and take them to
an extreme new level.
We also want to thank
Buckner Trailers for providing us with a
rugged trailer that has proved to be reliable no
matter how far we pushed it or where we tried to
go! A big thanks also goes out to Craig Goley
and the great folks at
ATV
Source.com. They backed us at every turn and
covered all of our events by stepping up to the
challenge to bring so many positive headlines to
the world.
Supporters
We have many additional supporters this year
that are willing to do their part to bring about
positive awareness for the off-road community as
a whole. These supporters include several
organizations, businesses, parks, and trail
systems, as well as many spectators or riders
who were fans of last year’s Tour for a Cure. We
even have some of our favorite off-road racers
that have offered to stand up and show support
for our cause. Keep an eye out as we join up
with each of them along the way.
The Time is Now
It is more important now than ever that we do
all our part to continue to make the
ATV/Off-Road community shine a little brighter
in this time of such controversy, when so many
groups and organizations are rallying against us
and trying to take away one riding place after
another and even one right after another. Let’s
work together to make 2010 the year that the
Off-Road community really comes to the forefront
and shows the world what an awesome bunch of
folks we really are!
