Directions: Big Rock is
located a little over and hour east of
Cincinnati, Ohio, just outside of Maysville,
Kentucky. For those of you using internet
directions our address is 8157 Stonelick
Road. Beware though! Mapquest is NOT the
most accurate on getting you here.
From the Cincinnati, and Northern KY
area, you should take Rt9 (AA Hwy)(exit 77)
off of I-275. Follow Rt9 all the way to
Maysville, should take just over an hour,
from the Wendy's you continue on for 4 1/2
miles. On the right side of the road look
for our (NEW)sign. Take the next road on the
left and follow the arrows to the parking
lot.
Trail Description:
Nearly 2000 acres of wooded trails.
Info Other: Camping is
available, with a limited number of electric
site. Primitive, also available.
Snack Bar, showers/restrooms, bike wash.
Only 5 minutes from town (Motels and
restaurants), and major bike/quad dealers.
No Alcohol allowed! Helmets required
at all times! Fun and safe atmosphere
for the entire family!

75:
Take Kentucky exit 29 at Corbin. Travel 32
miles south on the Cumberland Gap Parkway
(U.S.25E) to Pineville. Turn left onto
northbound U.S. 119 (by the Pineville Happy
Mart), and proceed 27 miles to Harlan.
Baileys Creek Trailhead: Turn right onto
southbound U.S. 421 and travel 1 mile to
stoplight #5. Turn left onto KY 38 and
travel 8 miles to Evarts. Directly after
crossing railroad tracks, turn left onto Rt.
2430 (Kelly Street). Follow the road 0.7
miles and then turn left across the railroad
crossing. Continue for 0.8 miles to the
Baileys Creek Trail Head.
Putney Entrance:Turn left onto northbound
U.S. 119 and travel 8 miles. Entrance is
located at Harlan County Campground and RV
Park, approximately 1/4 mile before Buddies
Chevron station.

From North I-75
Directions coming from north I-75, take
first London exit turn left at light, this
road merges into the Hall Rogers Pkwy, take
Pkwy for 20 miles, get off at Manchester
exit, turn left and go to first stop light,
turn right, go 7 miles on 421, turn right
onto 1524, go 1.6 miles turn right on
Hubbard Rd., stay right, road dead ends at
park entrance.
From South I-75
Directions coming from south I-75, take
first London exit turn right at stop light,
take 192 road dead ends into Hall Rogers
Pkwy, turn right onto Pkwy for 20 miles, get
off at the Manchester exit, turn left, go to
first stop light turn right, go 7 miles on
421, turn right onto 1524, go 1.6 miles turn
right on Hubbard Rd., stay right, road dead
ends at park entrance.
Trail Description: 3,150 acres of
off road fury, trails, mud, rocks, hills,
sight seeing, and all natural terrain and is
open to anything off road able.

From I-75 traveling
North, take 1st London exit, drive straight
until reach Hal Rogers Parkway, turn right.
Go until you reach Hyden Exit, take exit. Go
straight for 4 miles until red light. Turn
right, go 3.5 miles and Kenneth R. Witt
Trailhead is located on the left.
Traveling I-75 South, take take 1st
London exit, turn left at the light, go
straight for about 40 miles until the Hyden
Exit. Take Hyden Exit, go straight for 4
miles. Turn right at the red light, go 3.5
miles and we are located on the left.
Trail Description: Daniel Boone
Trails are 38 miles of easy to extreme with
trails marked and are adjacent to the
Redbird Crest Trails for a total of over 100
miles. ATV, horse, bikes, and hikers all
welcome with trails marked for
appropriateness.

Trailhead, you will find parking convenience
as well as the Willie Begley Memorial RV
Park and Campground with 29 slots. Primitive
camping allowed as long as safety guidelines
are followed and notification to staff.

Directions: No trailhead
building yet, but parking is available at
the end of Hwy 188 in Colmar. Everything is
primitive right now, with developments
hopefully coming in spring/summer 2009.
Approximately 3 miles north of Middlesboro,
KY turn onto Hwy 188...Travel about 3-4
miles, when the road makes a T fork, turn
left. Go about 1 mile and the road will
fork, take the right fork and follow Hwy 188
past the end of state maintenance to a
parking area.
Trail Description:
Reclaimed strip jobs, mountain-top
pastureland, wooded trails, and plenty of
spots to camp and fish as well. Over
100 miles of trails with the majority being
easy, scenic riding. We do have moderate and
a few challenging trails as well. We
hope to have a connecting trail from our
park to the world famous Black Mountain Park
in Harlan County, KY in 2009. Our
off-road club, the Holler Crawlers, offer
free guide service to visitors. We can also
take visitors from our park to Hensley's
Settlement, which is an old mountain
settlement on top of the Cumberland
Mountain.
